Austin: Former Team Member

Austin, who graduated from the team two years ago, now attends University of California Berkley; he helps the team with many of the aspects of building the robot, including CAD, programming, and a considerable amount more.

Evan: Sheri and Jerry’s son and former team president

Evan, who graduated from the team two years ago, now attends Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts; he helps us with clarification on rules, the running of the team, and mechanical issues.

Jerry: Software Engineer from Google

Jerry, a software engineer from Google, helps the team by advising the students about programming the robot.

Michael: Engineer from NASA

Michael, an engineer from NASA, advises the team about structural integrity. He also provides general support for the team and helps the team leadership run the team.

Randy: Engineer from Intuitive Surgical

Randy, an engineer from Intuitive Surgical, helps review the robot design and provides an engineers insight.

Roy: From Berger Manufacturing

Roy, an engineer from Berger Manufacturing in Santa Clara, reviews the students’ designs and advises them on the machinability of those designs. In addition to advising the team on the machinability of designs, Roy provides machining services and support.

Sarah Good: Staff advisor, teacher

Sarah Good, the team’s sponsoring teacher, is the primary supervisor for the team during the build season as well as a valuable resource for advice for all of the team’s members.

Sheri: Jerry’s wife

Sheri helps with supervision and provides valuable insight to the team leadership.

Wyn: Michael’s wife

Wyn helps with supervision, potluck organization, and brings delicious food.
