DESCRIPTION:Spartan Robotics Team and Parents\,\n \n The team did a great job at CalGames yesterday. They competed with great  \n spirit\, exhibited gracious professionalism\, had a lot of fun and placed well  \n (2nd). I have found that is often good to get together after a big event and  \n have a debrief and celebrate a little. So we are going to have a team meeting  \n and potluck dinner this Friday\, October 16 starting at 5:30 in room 112.  \n Students and mentors will have a CalGames debrief from 5:30 until 6:30 and  \n then we will have a potluck dinner. This is a great chance to get to know  \n each other better and for new people to learn more about the program.\n \n All team members\, parents\, and mentors are invited. To avoid doing too much  \n in one meeting\, we will have a new member parents meeting at a future date  \n with more extensive information for new team parents. This debrief meeting  \n and potluck is for all members\, new and old\, and you don't need to have  \n attended CalGames to come. The debriefing will be informative even if you  \n were unable to attend the competition and the potluck is a great way to get  \n together and celebrate.\n \n We are going to do it the same way we have done it in the past:\n \n Everyone is invited\, especially your parents\, so please make sure your  \n parents know about this! This is a chance to get to know everyone better and  \n has always been a fun time.\n \n Food and Supplies\n \n * We maintain a laissez faire attitude regarding our potlucks.
